Uniform Commercial Code CommitteeThe Uniform Commercial Code Committee focuses on all areas of commercial law, whether directly covered by the UCC (e.g., sales, leasing, payments, letters of credit, documents of title, investment securities or secured transactions) or tangentially covered (e.g., software contracting, suretyship, international commercial transactions and electronic money). The Committee monitors commercial law developments affecting commercial interests and actively participates in statutory reform efforts in commercial law. The Committee is currently working on a review of UCC Article 7 with the goal of having recommended legislation ready for presentation in the 2011 session. Committee Chair: W.
